Erich Nathaniel Williams, 13, was born on May 29, 2003 to Kortnee Fielder and Eugene “Monie” Williams, Sr. at Truman Medical Center Lakewood in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
Erich also known as, “Bubba,” received his angel’s wings at the age of thirteen (13) on November 5, 2016. Bubba was greeted at the gates of heaven by his maternal grandfather, Wayne L. Fielder, Sr., paternal grandfather, Eugene N. Erquhart and uncle, Keith Fielder.
Erich “Bubba” attended Children’s Center for the visually impaired (CCVI), Kansas City, Mo, Kansas School for the Blind, Caruthers Elementary, Stoney Point North Elementary, and prior to receiving his wings, he was an eighth grader at Coronado Middle School in Kansas City, Kansas USD 500.
Erich touched a lot of people’s hearts. He had a special relationship with all whom he encountered. He loved music, watching Toy Story, his racing car tracks, skating, putting together puzzles, eating, and giving hard high fives, and hugs and kisses. Bubba was also known as “the Microwave King.”
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother and father, Kortnee and Eugene, Sr.; six brothers, Christopher, Cameron, Damone, Eugene, Jr., Ethan and Evan; four sisters, Camille, Capri, Anaiah, and Madison; grandparents, Janet Fielder and Karen & Bernard Stevenson; great-grandmother, Billie Jean Peterson; five uncles, Bruce Williams, Wendell Williams, Craig Williams (Isha), William Marshall (Maureen) and Wayne Fielder, Jr.: two aunts, Robyn Bruckshaw (Marco), and Keysha Fielder; one niece, Kaylen and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Bubba will be greatly missed and forever loved!
Funeral services were held at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC, 2800 East 18th Street, Kansas City, Missouri on Monday, November 14, 2016 at with Apostle Lorraine Williams, officiating, Burial Chapel Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas.
