Young, Jr., Ezekiel Young, and Hassan Young, husband, Willie Williams, Sr., one daughter, Jeanette Williams, and two nieces, Regina Young-Morris and Tracy Young all preceded her in death.

Mary Ann was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, Missouri and attended Manual High School. She later received her General Education Diploma. Mary Ann pursued a career in Social Work and was a certified Social Worker at MARC, (Mid America Regional Council). She loved her work and enjoyed working with senior citizens for over twenty-five years, until she retired.

Mary Ann always had a spiritual journey with the Lord and it led her to Christ Temple Church of God, now known as Victorious Life. She loved the Lord and was committed to her walk with him.

Mary Ann was married in 1954, at an early age to the love of her life, Willie B. Williams, Sr. and they were blessed with seven children. He also preceded her in death.

Mary Ann was a wonderful mother and grandmother and loved her family gatherings, especially at holidays. She loved to cook and was excellent at it.  She was very gifted and taught pottery classes in her home, twice a week, making and selling wonderful ceramic pieces. Out of all the things she enjoyed, taking care of the elderly was one of her greatest.

She answered the Master’s call on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Research Medical Center.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Diane Williams, Willie Williams, Jr. (Gail), Maurice Williams,  Berthina Williams, Jessie Williams, Shadonna Dean (Elder Larry) and Shawn Humphrey; two brothers, David Young (Patricia) and Elihue Young; sister in-law, Miriam Young and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
