CURTIS A. CROCKETT
April 28, 1947 - December 22, 2016
Curtis A. Crockett was born on April 28, 1947 in Halls Tennessee to the late Arlee Crockett and Daisy Mae Yancy. Curtis attended Douglas Elementary and graduated from Brentwood High School in St. Louis, Missouri.
Curtis served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968, until he received an honorable discharge. He was united in holy matrimony to Debra M. Turner, and to this union three children were born, Mark A. Crockett, Christopher A. Crockett and then the love of his life, Angela M. Crockett.
Curtis enjoyed hunting, fishing, and having lengthy discussions, especially if he was political correct.
During Curtis’ journey of this life, he worked for the Veteran’s Administration Hospital and the General Services Administration. After retiring, he worked odd jobs just to have something to do, until his health began to fail. Curtis was a gentle giant, and he would give you his last.
He departed this life on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. We are sure there is a great celebration as he reunites with his parents, Arlee and Daisy Mae, for a heavenly reunion.
Curtis A Crockett leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Debra M Crockett; three sons, Mark A. Crockett, Christopher A Crockett, Kansas City, MO, and Curtis A Crockett Jr. (Christian), St. Louis, MO; one daughter, the love of his life, Angela M. Crockett, Kansas City, MO; two brothers, Ivory Lee Crockett ( Auvelia ), and Lee Truman Crockett; five sisters, Margret Harry ( T J) deceased, Pam Winston (Melvin), Tonia Crockett, all of St. Louis, MO, Ann Crockett and Arlene Crockett, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family and friends…
