Glenn Edward Steele, 65, was born March 23, 1951, in Kansas City, Missouri to the union of Romaine and Gracie (Neal) Steele. He was the sixth of nine children.
Glenn was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from Manual High School. During his time at Manual High, he and his brother, Ronald, played on the basketball team.
