Shirley Ann Super, 62, was born June 3, 1954 to Howard Lewis Jackson and Annie Mae (Trotter) Jackson in Kansas City, Missouri. She was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, Missouri, attending D.A. Holmes, Central Junior High, and was a graduate of Central High School.
Shirley pursued a career as an entrepreneur and a local business owner. She owned the Club, “Night Splash”, a place of excitement, fun and entertainment. She loved music, dancing and enjoyed lip-sync performing.
Shirley was an avid gardener, loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She departed this life on Monday, December 5, 2016. Her parents, Howard and Annie Jackson, Sr., two brothers, Howard Lewis Jackson, Jr. and Stevie Jackson, and a son, Danell Ramon Jackson all preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Craig Lewis Jordan of Avondale, Arizona; one daughter, Johnique Armeta Jordan of Kansas City, Missouri; siblings, Helen Jean Johnson, Randy Jackson, and Dorine Jackson; grandchildren, Craig Lewis Jordan II, Anfernee Deon Jordan, Lezah Sh’Crai Dawn-Jordan, Makedah Sh’Rayne Dawn Jordan, and Savaughn Dawn; great-grandchild, Martezz Cario Jordan; nephews and nieces, Gerald Robinson, Kendrick Robinson, Patrick Jackson, Annetta Taylor, Andrianne Benitz, and Dwayne Kelly; special friends loved like family, Betty L. Schubert and Kathy Gregory and a host of great-nephews, great-nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A public viewing was held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, 2800 East 18th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64127, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Private Disposition.
