PAMELA LOUISE BLAKE
September 3, 1964 - October 1, 2016
Pamela L. Blake, 52, was born on September 3, 1964 to Johnny and Claudine Blake in Kansas City, Missouri.
Pamela was educated in the Kansas City Public Schools attending W. W. Yates and Paseo High Schools. She was employed in the Automotive Industry for over twenty-five years as a Quality Inspector.
Pamela accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age at Pentecostal Church of God in Christ. Although she strayed during her adulthood, Bishop Jordan had the opportunity of once again receiving her back into the family of God.
Pamela never married, but was blessed with a wonderful son, whom she loved dearly. She loved to travel and hang out with family and friends. Pamela had an appreciation for all music, with a wide array from Michael Jackson to Bob Marley.
Pamela answered the Master’s call on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Her father, Johnny B. Blake, brother, Jerald Blake, Sr., and two nephews, Reginald “Romell” Blake and Jerald L. Blake, Jr., all preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Daryne L. Blake; mother, Claudine Williams Blake; four sisters, Mary D. Blake, Linda D. Blake, Vickie R. Blake, and Janice Allison; five brothers, Johnny (LaDonna) Blake, Melvin (Brenda) Blake, Kenneth Blake, Curtis Blake, and Bruce (Anita) Blake; very special friends, Daryne Gray, Monnika McCualey, Beverly Hall, Patricia Boggess and Fred Wesley ; special cousin, Anna King; sixteen nephews, twelve nieces; fourteen great-nephews; fourteen great nieces and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services held at Pentecost Church of God In Christ, 6300 Swope Parkway ~ Kansas City, Missouri 64132, Monday, October 10, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. with Elder Fred Johnson, Officiating. Private Disposition. Arrangements by Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC..
