Johnny Ace Blake, 60,was born on August 7, 1956 in Sunflower, Mississippi to Johnnie and Claudine Blake.
Johnny attended the Kansas City, Missouri School District. He was employed with the Hickman Mills School District for four (4) years, but his love was cooking and barbequing; Waids twelve (12) years and Annie Santa Fe ten (10) years. On May 15, 1993 he married the love of his life, LaDonna Maple. No children were born to this union, however they became a blended family of three with Demitris Maple, and there was a lot of love. His first marriage was to Donna Keith, and this union was blessed with twins, Clara and Tana Blake.
Johnny loved his sports and he loved to travel. He departed this life on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at home with his loving family by his side. His father, Johnnie Blake, brother, Jerald L. Blake, Sr., sister, Pamela Blake, and two nephews, Jerald Blake, Jr., and Reginald R. Blake all preceded him in death.
