Allan James Robinson

Allan James Robinson transitioned at his home on Friday, July 26, 2024. Allan was born March 3, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri to James Dudley Jr. and Hortense Robinson.

He was preceded in death by his father James Dudley Jr., Mother Hortense Robinson, paternal grandparents James Sr. and Ida Dudley, maternal grandparents Solomon and Anna Mae Smith, brothers James Dudley III, Reggie Dudley, Dennis Darks and Christopher Robinson. Sisters Valerie Simmons and Sheila Robinson.

Allan attended the Kansas City Missouri Public Schools until the age of 12 years old. At the passing of his mother he was taken in by his older sister Beverly Johnson who lived in Wilmington, California, where he finished his education. There he graduated from Phineas Banning Senior High School. When Allan turned 18 years of age he returned to Kansas City, MO.

Allan had a love for helping and caring for people. He had various jobs throughout his life. Allan worked at Research and St. Lukes hospitals as a cook. He also had a lawn service which he was so proud of he called “BIG AL’S”! We all know Allan was small in statue but he had big loving heart. He never met a stranger. Once you became his friend he cherished you for life. Allan will be greatly missed.

He leaves to cherish his memory fiancé Mary Wesley of Kansas City, MO, one son Montez Leathers of Portsmouth, VA, one granddaughter Amiyah Leathers of Portsmouth, VA., three brothers Charles Robinson,

Chicago, Illinois, Ellery Dudley, Temple Hills, Maryland, Cardell Dudley(Lori) of Kansas City, KS, five sisters Irene Robinson of Chicago, Illinois, Beverly Johnson of Kansas City, Mo, Norma Jean Gordon of California, Debra Sue Robinson of Las Vegas, Nv, and PatWilkinson of Denver, CO, and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday August 15, 2024, visitation will beheld from 10 A.M. - 11 A.M. with services beginning at 11 A.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC 2800 East 18th st., KCMO 64127.
