Amelia Thompson

Amelia Thompson was born December 15, 1988, in Kansas City, Missouri to Donna and Steven Thompson.
Amelia was educated in the Hickman Mills School District and graduated from Hickman Mills High School. She enjoyed being around family and friends, she especially enjoyed being with her nephews.
Amelia met her beloved boyfriend, Randy Randle in 2008. Though they never got married they spent years together expressing their love for one another.

When running into Amelia you could always catch her wearing her favorite headbands and scarves. She enjoyed cooking and eating chicken. She also loved to babysit and volunteer at the Jupiter Garden, lending her expertise at growing fruits and vegetables. Amelia also loved listening to R&B music as it helped her express her feelings.

Amelia departed this life on Thursday, June 8, 2023. She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Thompson, and her grandparents, Emily Yvonne Collins, Clyde Floyd Jones, Armelia Etta Shepard, and Willie.
Amelia leaves her father, Steven Thompson Sr.; siblings, Andrea (Antwonne) George, Alysia Thompson, and Steven Thompson Jr.; boyfriend, Randy Randle Jr.; best friend, Brandon Collier, and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends to cherish her memory.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday June 17, 2023 at 3 P.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC 2800 East 18th st., KCMO 64127.
