Andre Jaquan Brown

Andre Brown was born in Kansas City, MO to Andre Brown and Marci Piggie on October 25, 1990. He was the youngest and the only son of Marci Piggie and was known to family and friends as “Man Man”. He was educated in both the Hickman Mills School District and KCPSD, where he graduated in 2009. Andre joined the military while in high school and later worked in the trucking industry for 10+ years. Andre was the best uncle to his 10 nieces and nephew and loved them dearly as he thought of them as his own children. He also enjoyed watching KU basketball, an all-around Chiefs fan and the life of the party.

Andre departed this life on August 5, 2024, in Houston, TX. His father Andre Brown, grandmother Lessie Brown, grandfathers Marvell Brown & Gerald Davis, aunt Cynthia Wright and cousins Brandon & Anjanique Wright precedes him in death.

Andre leaves to cherish his memory; mother Marci Piggie; sisters Takesha Gordon, Felicia Gordon, Saunniece Gordon, Andrea Ashley, bonus sister Arianna Cooksey and brother DeAndre Brown (Cheryale), bonus brothers Dominique Cooksey and Korey Brooks; Uncles Marvell & Frenklyn Piggie, Anthony Granger (Ashanti), Haseen Robinson, Gerald Nelson and Bryan Harris; Aunt Tatiana Singleton; grandparent Karen & Larry Harris; great grandmother Irene Grant; bonus mom LaShea Pickett; nephews DeMarcus Conrad, Donald Bennett, Michael Ashley Jr., Zariyn Gordon, Kaidynn Gordon-Lee, DeAndre Brown II; nieces Aniyah Rogers, Zariyah Gordon, Khloe Gordon, and CeVyn Brown, along with a host of relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday August 31, 2024 at 3 P.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Creamation  Services, LLC 2800 East 18th st. KCMO 64127.
