Angela "Angie" Bell

Angela was born in Kansas City, Missouri on September 20, 1971, to parents, George Tyson and Barbara Bell. Her father, mother, two nephews, Paul Piper Jr., and Ivan Raynard Tyson Jr.; and great-niece, Kimmani LaRose Milligan preceded her in death.
Angela was educated in the Kansas City, Mo. School District. She accepted Christ into her life at a young age. Angela was a longtime member of the Downtown Church of Christ pastored by Minister Wes Anderson Sr.
Angela, better known to her family as “Angie”, departed this life on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, she left many hearts to mourn and to cherish her memories.

Angie loved to surround herself around her kids, grand-children, nieces, and nephews. She enjoyed sitting on the porch, laughing, joking, and enjoying moments with her family. She loved late night card games with her brothers and cousins. Her all-time favorite was conversating on the phone. Angie would call everyone in the family, if she had your phone number, you were receiving a call from Angie. She spent her last week of life reaching out to all her loved ones, leaving them all with a special memory to cherish. If you knew Angie, you knew that she was her mother’s child, you knew that since the passing of her mother, she missed her like no other. So, just knowing that these two are together once again, in the Heavens above, smiling down, watching over us all, that alone should put a big smile on all of our faces and comfort in our hearts.

Angie is survived by her daughter, Rochelle Harvey; son, Laron Bell (HyKeisha); four sisters, Connie Tyson and Paulette Smith, Kansas City, Mo., Melissa Gunn, Country Club Hills, Illinois, and Rosie Blissett, Mississippi; four brothers, Mickey Bell (Warnetta), Marvin Bell, Daron Bell and Gary Bell all residing in Kansas City, Mo.; three grand-daughters, Naomi LaShae Bell, Malika Jasper Hatley, and Duchess Hatley; a longtime friend, Parthenia Williams and a host of nephews, nieces, other family, and friends.
