Anna Marie Minor

Anna Marie Minor,71 years young by 1 week and 1 day, passed away at St. Lukes Hospice House on March 10, 2024.
Anna was born to Asia and Lane Minor in Kansas City, Jackson County, MO at General Hospital #2. She was preceded in death by both parent, maternal Grandmother, Ms. Eunice Williams, a brother, Larry Minor and her beautiful daughter, Stacey Jones.

Anna gave her life to Christ in 2018 and was baptized into the Linwood Blvd SDA Temple and served as a deaconess under the pastorship of Elder Joseph R. Ikner. Anna was an active member until her death. She especially loved “Linwood Live” where worship services were held outside for evangelism in our community.

Anna received the gifts of 3 children; Terrance “Terry” L., Stephen E, and Stacey Jones. They were the love of her life and the reasons for her being. Her fervent prayer was for her family to be in Christ, our savior for their lives.
She attended and was a very popular student at Lincoln Sr. High school here in Kansas City and was certified as a word processor form Wrights Business School in Denver, CO. She went on to pursue her career as a manager for Money Express and CVS Pharmacy, until her retirement in 2016.

Ann (as she was affectionally called) was a very fashionable dresser with a look all her own and was stunning when she dressed. As the matriarch of the Minor family, she loved all who were around her. She was always hosting family dinners, parties, and picnics. Ann was the life of the party.
Anna is survived by her sons; Terrence L. (Yvonne), Stephen E. (Denise) Jones; Brothers; Gregory (Alondra) Minor, Stanley (Carla) Minor; Grandchildren; Krysteena Jones, Dominique Moore-Jones, Alondre Ricks, and Asia Jones; Great grandchildren; Joseph and Aniyah Moore; 2 special Sisters: Coyela (Robert) Topps and Carol Washington, and a host of other family and friends.

 Funeral Services will be held on Friday March 22, 2024,  visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. - 1:00 P.M. with services beginning at 1:00 P.M. at Linwood SDA Temple 4300 Linwwood Blvd, Kansas City, Missouri 64128.
