Antonio Montise Steen Sr.

Antonio was born April 6, 1975 in Kansas City, Kansas to Cynthia Steen and Victor Harris, Sr. Antonio was educated in the Kansas City Kansas School District and graduated from Wyandotte High School. Throughout his life he worked in various capacities, including as a landscaper at Simmons Lawn Care.

Antonio was affectionately known by those that loved him as Tony, Too Tall and Gentle Giant. Tony had a deep passion for sports, but basketball had a special place in his heart. He cherished spending time with his family and friends. Tony touched the lives of all who knew him with his warmth, generosity and unwavering kindness.

Tony departed this life surrounded by family. Tony will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as his love and laughter live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Helen Steen and Edith Mays. Antonio leaves to cherish his memory children Antonio “TJ” Steen Jr., and Ravion Kirkland; grandkids Isaiah Jones Jr and Xzavier Jones; parents Cynthia Steen and Victor (Sandra) Harris Sr., siblings Constance Steen, KimQisha Johnson, TiwJaun Griffin, Victor Harris Jr, LaTrice Glin, Maurice Harris, Mario Harris, Dawn Young, Wayne Young, Ivory Young-Gibson, Shonte’ Brockman and Jared Harris. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday December 28, 2024, visitation will be from 3 P.M. - 4 P.M. with Services beginning at 4 P.M. at Pleasant Green Baptist Church 340 David L. Gray Ave  Kansas City, Kansas
