Ben graduated from Independence Academy in 2010 and went on to pursue a degree in welding at Vatterott. He was currently working at Midmark in Kansas City, Kansas.
Ben was a man of few words, but enjoyed reading and learning new things. Lego building was his true passion, and was how he connected with others. Lego was truly his love language. He put a lot of thought and time in building and buying sets or minifigs for his loved ones to express his feelings for them.
Ben departed this earth on October 2, 2024. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Luker Sr, Mary And Chet Austin, Eugene and Lennis Combs. To cherish his memory, Ben leaves behind his parents, William Luker Jr and Linda Luker; siblings Sara Moore (Jason Moore), Amy Luker, Amanda Luker, Joel Luker (Lanka Luker),Billy Luker, and Leon Luker; nephews and niece, Bjorn Luker, Otto Luker, Corbin Moore, Devlen Moore, and Mason Moore.
A celebration of life will be held at Kingdom City Church, 2620 Burlington St. North Kansas City, MO 64116, on Saturday, November 16 from 2-5pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you bring a small or medium new Lego set or new board or hardback children’s book to the celebration of life to be donated to Children’s Mercy and House of Hope. If not attending and you still want to donate, please reach out to Sara Moore at 816-506-9331 or sarabethmoore79@gmail.com. We will be setting up a wish list to include some of Ben’s favorite books and Lego to continue to donate to these causes for years to come in his honor.
