Bobby Ray Smith

Bobby Ray Smith was born on January 16, 1964 in Kansas City, Missouri to Agnes Marie Smith, and Bobby Ray Cleveland, both Deceased. Bobby was educated in the Kansas City School District, later receiving his General Education Degree. Bobby enjoyed his family and his music, playing dominoes, and just living life to the fullest.

Bobby departed this life on Thursday, June 29, 2023. He was preceded in death by his mother, Agnes Marie Smith; father, Bobby Ray Cleveland; grandparents, Newton Smith, and Ora Mae Smith; uncles, little Archie Smith, and Woodrow Smith; Aunties, Wilma Dedmond, and Ida Mae Rodriquez; and a cousin, David Lee III.

Bobby leaves to cherish his memory, his siblings, Christine Smith, and Michael Smith; uncles, Newton Smith, William Smith (Sandra), Linzey Smith (Linda), and David Lee Smith II (Paula); niece, Ida Sha’Ninfa Dunn; nephew, Rico C. Dunn-Smith; great-nieces, Ry’Asia Thompson, and Sage Dunn; special friend, Ms. Shelley; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday July 20, 2023, visitation will be held from 2 P.M. - 3 P.M. with services beginning at 3 P.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC 2800 East 18th st., KCMO 64127.
