Carla Jane Hutson, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024, at the age of 74. Born on October 14, 1950, Carla brought warmth, compassion, and unwavering dedication to everyone she met.
A proud graduate of Madison Heights High School, Carla dedicated her life to helping others. She served as a nurse for 50 years, bringing care and comfort to countless patients. Her career also included time at Delco Remy America, where she made lifelong friendships and touched many lives with her kindness, humor, and infectious laughter.
Carla was known for her mischievous sense of humor and love for practical jokes. Whether it was a clever prank or a perfectly timed laugh, she had a knack for bringing joy and smiles to everyone around her. Her playful spirit was as much a part of her legacy as her deep compassion.
She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Carol J. Clemons; her sister, Linda K. Pease; and her father, Robert Tappan Clemons.
Carla leaves behind her mother, Thelma Gertrude Clemons; her devoted sister, Veronica Keesling; and her two cherished daughters, Jenny Masters (husband Jeremy Masters and daughter Taylor Masters) and Julie Shaw (husband Jeff Shaw and son Logan Owens). She will also be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Carla’s legacy is one of love, resilience, care, and laughter. She will be remembered for her radiant smile, playful pranks, and the profound impact she made on everyone she met.
She will forever remain in our hearts, and her laughter will echo in our memories.
