Carlos Montez Rainey

Carlos Montez Rainey was born November 20,1963 in Kansas City Missouri to Lola and Lv Rainey Sr. Carlos was educated in the inner city of Kansas City, where he graduated at Southwest High school. 

Carlos worked several jobs throughout life as a local entrepreneur he owned his own business Cosmo Ice Cream and more also working as a part time truck driver.

Later in life he settled into part time seasonal jobs. 

Carlos accomplished many things in life his number one accomplishment was raising his children, being a good grandfather and person to all. He was a peacemaker , protector and provider for his family. He left his mark in each person in his passing.

Carlos was blessed with three beautiful children and enjoyed family gatherings and  playing video games. Carlos loved to eat milk and cookies, making jokes and laughing spending times with his

family.

Carlos departed this life on November 20, 2022.

Carlos is preceded in death by his Mother Lola Rainey, Father LV Rainey Sr, Grandmother’s Elnora Cubie ( Madea) Addie Maryweather, Grandfathers Ezekiel Rainey , Harvey Cubie. Several Aunties, Uncles, and Cousins.

Carlos leaves to cherish his memory his children, Son, Lv Rainey ( Tyekesha Miller),

Daughter, Mia Rainey ( Larnell Watson Jr), Son, Virgil Patterson, Sister Dana Gutierrez (Rafael Gutierrez ), Nephew Jordain Rainey, and 9 Grandchildren Caleb Hawkins, Montez Rainey, Kai Rainey, ZaMya Barr, LaKaedra Watson, LaMina Watson, Larnell Watson 3rd, Lailoni Watson, and LaMell Watson.
