Carolyn A. Phillippe (Adams)
Harriett Adams née Aiken, passed away in the early hours of Sunday, April 7, 2024. She was pre-
deceased by her parents and her younger brother, John W Adams. She is survived by her loving
husband of 32 years, Ross Phillippe, her nephew, Leo McDonald and his wife Sandy, her beloved dogs
Cricket and Willy, and many friends of long standing.

in 1965 where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi and Pi Lambda Theta education honor society. She held
a Master of Science degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City.

own company, CAP Real Estate Appraisal Services. For thirty years, Carolyn served the Affordable
Housing community as an appraiser and market analyst for various lenders and investment groups.
Being a “stickler” for detail her work was highly regarded, and she remained active until a few weeks
before her death.

and dinners. She was always involved in the planning of reunions for her Shawnee Mission East
classmates. Family and friends will sorely miss Carolyn and her unforgettable infectious laugh.
