Charles Williams

Charles Williams was born July 31, 1957  to Mildred Williams and Charles Robinson in Yazoo, Mississippi.

Charles and his family relocated to Chicago, Illinois where he was educated in the public school system. He later relocated to Kansas City, Kansas where he worked until retirement as a Custodian with the Kansas City Kansas Housing Authority. Charles was a very hard worker.

Although, Charles was not blessed with children of his own, he was a father figure to his nephews, niece, and cousins.

Charles enjoyed being around family, going fishing, traveling and listening to the Blues and Old School R&B. He enjoyed being the DJ at events.

Charles departed this life on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. His parents preceded him in death.

Charles leaves to cherish his memory two brothers, Stanley Williams, and Cornelius  Williams both of Chicago, IL; one sister, Corean Williams of Leesburg, FL; one uncle, Robert Williams, Chicago, IL; five aunts, Hattie Barker, Chicago, IL, Albennie Williams, Yazoo City, MS, Maxine Williams, Kansas City, KS, Barbara Garrison, Reddick, FL, and Minnie Williams, Leesburg, FL, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday April 1, 2023 at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC
