Clarence Earl Johnson Jr., affectionately known as Jr, Bearman, Doughboy, and Earl. He was born on February 14, 1983, in Kansas City, MO to the union of Carolyn Johnson and Clarence Earl Johnson, Sr. He graduated from high school with pride, a testament to his determination and commitment to his education. Clarence's educational journey led him to hair school. Although he didn't pursue it as a career, his time in hair school allowed him to further develop his skills and creativity by helping those that he knew and those in need.
Clarence worked in transportation and ran his own business, Johnson Transportation & Logistics. Above all, Clarence was known for his caring nature and genuine concern for others. He took great pride in ensuring that everyone around him was doing well and always lent a helping hand to those in need. His selflessness and compassion left an indelible mark on the lives he touched.
Clarence will be remembered for his infectious laughter, warm smile, and kind heart. He leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be treasured by his family and friends.
Clarence is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Johnson Sr, his sister, Audra Humphry, and both maternal and paternal grandparents. Clarence was the father of four children. Mario Johnson age 23, Mariah Johnson age 21, Clarence Earl Johnson III age 19, all of Fort Worth, TX,Malachi Hardin age 11 of Kansas City, MO.
Clarence leaves to cherish his memories: His 4 children, mother, Carolyn Johnson of Kansas City, MO; 3 sisters, Deon Jones (Harold), Kansas City, MO, Nicole Coleman, Kansas City, MO, and Hellen Johnson (Ronald), Saint Louis, MO.; 2 brothers, Reginald Ligons (Shantay), Houston, TX, and Sean Mikle of Houston, TX. Clarence had a host of nieces and nephews. He leaves bonus sisters, Monae Bland and Ashley Morris of Kansas City, MO, special friend Kenya Osborn and host of other loving family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday August 17, 2024, visitation will be held from 9 A.M. - 11 A.M. with services beginning at 11 A.M. at Calvary Temple Baptist Church 2940 Holmes rd. Kansas City, Mo 64109.
