Cunnie Lee Randle Sr., son of Ezekiel and Eulah Randle, made his entrance into his earthly home on July 22,1934 in his hometown of Brinkley, Arkansas. Cunnie attended grade school at Garrett Grove in Moro, Arkansas. He received Christ at the age of 12 and was baptized in Walnut Lake while he was a memberat Garrett Baptist Church. Cunnie grew up in Moro, Arkansas and later moved to Kansas City, Missouri where he worked at Armors Packing House. He met his wife, Bernadine Franklin in the 1950's.. They later married in 1954, from this union they had 6 children; however, the family was extended with 4 additional children they adopted. In May of 1967 he join Pleasant Green Baptist Church in Kansas City, Kansas where he was a member until his transition into heaven.
As a member of Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church, Cunnie served until he was physically unable and even then he continued to serve from his beside. Those ministries included, but not limited to the Deacon board, the finance committee, July ministry month,and the United Prayer Movement. However, there was no task or request that he was not willing to step up and serve in. Cunnie served as a mentor, prayer partner, resource and friend to all. Cunnie never met a stranger and extended love to all.
When it came to his family, Cunnie was there for us all, immediate and extended, no one was exempt from the love he had. Annually, he would attend his family reunion where he loved on and was loved on. Cunnie enjoyed serving with his church family and being around family and friends. He loved his sports, especially the Chiefs and Royals!! If he wasnt watching sports he would sit and listen to them on the radio.
On June 1, 2023 the Heavenly phone rang and he answered the call. He was proceeded in death by his loving wife Bernadine Randle, parents; Ezekiel and Eulah Randle; brothers and sisters Sterling Randle, Ezekiel Randle, Willie Randle, Henry Randle, Hermon Randle, Joseph Randle, Elizabeth Matthews, Geneva Matthews, Mable White, Bernice Williams; his sons, Anthony Randle and Cunnie Randle Jr. ; daughter ( Mable White) his grandson, Kenneth Peters II; great grand daughter Delisa Kelly.
Cunnie left to cherish his memories his sister, Onnie Mae Williams ( Houston, TX), daughters, Vanalda Washington (KCMO), Vonda Cloyd ( Michael) ( Grandview, Mo), Donna Randle ( KCMO), Rhonda Randle (KCMO), Theresa Taylor ( Grandview, MO), Marla White (Stephen) (Lawton, OK) Special daughter Johnnie Mae Long (KCMO) Special Son Alvin Turner (KCK). His grandchildren, Vinson Smith (KCMO), Anthony Randle Jr. (Arizona), Andrea Underwood (KCK), Jason Hawkins (KCK) Carrie Randle ( Irving, Tx), Andre Randle ( KCK), Kelli Blewett (Gerald) (KCMO), Adrian Washington ( KCMO), Cristian Randle (AJ) (Raytown, MO), Antwan Dantzler ( Mandy, Constance Randle, George Morgan, Louis Morgan, Candice Randle, Breona Banks( ( KCMO), Tyrone Taylor ( Durham, NC), Tatum Harlin ( El Paso, Tx) and his best friend, Ralph Mitchell ( KCK), Dwight Thomas (KCK) and a host of great and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday June 9, 2023, visitiation will be held from 10 A.M. - 12 P.M. with services beginning at 12 P.M. at Pleasant Green Baptist Church 340 David L. Gray Dr. Kansas City, Kansas 66101,
