Dana Ann Holloway (O'Brien)

Dana Ann Holloway, 53, of Lawrence entered into rest on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. She was born January 17, 1970 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Edward and Connie (Deatherage) O'Brien. She received a license from the Kansas Board of Cosmetology following high school and was a stylist for nearly 30 years. Dana loved all of God's creations, especially showing compassion to even the smallest forms of life.

She is survived by her five children: Gabriel O'Brien and Sabrina, Samantha, Savannah, and Sophia/Sebastian Holloway; her parents Edward and Connie O'Brien; and her ten siblings Teri (Walid) Samadzai, John (Blossom) O'Brien, Jill O'Brien, Aimee (Aaron) Rosenow, Shaun (Shawn) O'Brien, Michael O'Brien, Erin (Aaron) Swallow, Mark O'Brien, Derek (Sara) O'Brien, and Mary (Taylor) Deatherage.

In leau of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions be made to the Lawrence Humane Society.

A remembrance of life service for Dana will be held Saturday, August 12 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tonganoxie. Visitation with family will begin at 9:00 a.m. followed by mass at 10:00 a.m.
