DARRELL ALLEN DAVIS

DARRELL ALLEN DAVIS September 20, 1956 – April 20, 2020 Darrell A. Davis 63, of Independence, Mo passed away unexpectedly on April 20, 2020. Darrell was born on September 20, 1956 to Rosemary and Russell Davis who preceded him in death. He had a sister Mary Sharon that preceded him in death also. Darrell graduated from the Kansas City School District in 1975. He received the highest honorof a Eagle Scout with the Boys Scouts of America. Darrell married Daisy Stone on March 14, 1980. Darrell worked at Townsend Communications where he received the honor of Master Cutter Operater.  He worked at Creative Circle in Kansas, where he was known as the Best Box Maker in the  business. He was a member of the Coast guard auxiliary for several years. Darrell enjoyed tinkering and fixing things, even if they didnt need fixing. He enjoyed the lake, boating and fishing.He loved being with his family and friends and church family. Darrell was always helping others and would  give his last dime to someone in need. Darrell leaves his wife Daisy  and his sister Janice of the home. His pets who he called his children.Sissy a Miniature Australian Shepherd, his cats Lilly, Honey Bee, Kit Kat, Socrates and for 30 years his beloved Mama cat.Darrell also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church family at Summit Grove Community of Christ.A celebration of life will take place at a later time, when it is safe to do so. Darrell will be missed by all of those that knew him.
