David Eugene Lopez

David Eugene Lopez was born May 3, 1961, in San Jose, California to Richard and Sue Lopez. David was educated at St. Stephens Boarding School in Rome, Italy. He worked mostly in culinary arts because he loved serving other people.

He accomplished being a faithful and dedicated sailor in the United States Navy. David married Carrisa and blessed with three beautiful daughters Helen, Emily, and Katie, from a previous relationship. David enjoyed the love of music, devoted to watching his favorite football team, the Kansas City Chiefs, win or lose, David was a die-hard fan. His favorite movie was Forrest Gump, and David also enjoyed being alone on the beach because of his fondness for nature.

David departed this life on September 16, 2023. Arthur Lopez (Grandfather), Rosalie Lopez (Grandmother), Michael Lopez (Uncle), Theresa Lopez (Sister), proceeded his death. David leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Carrisa Lopez, three children Helen Schaake, Emily Lopez, Katie Lopez, his sisters Caryl Lane, Tricia Lynch, brother-in-law Keith Lynch, his parents Rick an Sue Lopez, Tim Lopez (Uncle), Carolyn Lopez (Aunt), two grand children Sterling and Mae Schaake, and many cousins and a host of friends.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday September 30, 2023 at 3 P.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC located at 2800 East 18th St., Kansas City, Mo 64127.
