Deion Sebastain Lewis was born November 28, 1992 in Kansas City, Missouri. He tragically departed this life on February 12, 2024.Deion was the eldest son of Fredrick and Regina Lewis. He attended Belton High School and was a gifted athlete. He continued his education and football career at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa and Southern Arkansas in Magnolia, Arkansas. He also attended the University of Kansas, majoring in Criminal Justice. At the time of his passing Deion was employed at the Kauffman Foundation as Supervisor of security through Allied Universal Security Services. Deion also provided personal security which afforded him the opportunity to travel to Portugal, Poland and Germany. He also pursued an acting career with local production companies. Deion enjoyed fishing, hiking, traveling, listening to music, hanging out with friends and chilling with his dog, Lola and cat, Sunny. Deion was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Deacon Lee Meredith and paternal grandparents Fred Lewis and Bertha LaVerne Kyles. To cherish his memory he leaves behind his parents Fredrick and Regina Lewis, his siblings, Sean, Courtnie (Mike) and Kyndal Lewis; his grandmother, Coralee Meredith, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and the love of his life Sarah McCool. Deion’s infectious laugh, smile, protective nature, passionate deep thinking and goofy personality will all be missed.
