Delore Taylor

Delores Taylor, 73, was born July 21, 1949 to  Marshall P. Botley, Sr., and Beatrice Botley. Dolores was educated in the Kansas City, Missouri school district and graduated from Central High School. She worked at GEHA. She signed language for the hearing impaired.  She was a foster grandparent for the Kansas City public schools.

Delores met and married Cecil Taylor Sr.  She was blessed with three children, Alvin, Lois, and Cecil Jr..

Delores enjoyed working with children and loved being and awesome great grandmother.

She departed this life on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. Her parents, Marshall and Beatrice Botley preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Alvin Botley, Lois Botley, and Cecil Taylor, Jr.; siblings, Ida Botley, Carolyn Johnson, Katherine Grier and Matthew Botley; grandchildren, Brittany Allen, Brandy Allen, and Breyony Allen; great- grandchildren, Dezstany, DaMeir, and Skylar, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
