Deondrea Monique Brand, was born October 17, 1984, in Kansas City, Kansas to Andrew Lee and Martha Brand. She was raised by her loving parents, Andrew and Maryann Lee of Parkville, Missouri. As a child, God gave Deondrea a great love for people and a desire to help others.
Deondrea attended Parkville South High School where she worked part-time for Pizza Hut and began going to school, working as a Nurse’s Aide in Riverside, Missouri. She graduated high school, class of 2003, and went on to pursue her dream of being a Certified Nurses’ Aide.
Deondrea was so active and loved life, she truly embraced it! She loved to sing, and dance; she was filled with life and love! Ne Ne had a heart of gold and a beautiful spirit. One of the things that stood-out in Ne Ne was her great respect for people. She was a very compassionate person who loved everyone she met.
Ne Ne was a shining star, a light! She accepted people just the way they were. One of her favorite colors was purple, the color of royalty. Ne Ne loved to eat! One of her favorite foods was some beans and cornbread, something most of us love. She also loved clothes and shopping. She loved life and if the family was having anything, chances were, you would see NE NE! It is said to know someone is to love them. To love Ne Ne was to know her, and we are present here today because we do know Ne Ne and we do love her, and will miss her sweet personality, kind heart, and beautiful Smile. NE NE will be greatly missed!
