Dominique Michel Hernandez-Imbrogno was born on January 3, 1997, to Jennifer Christina Hernandez and Frank David Imbrogno.
She was known by many names & endearments, Mimi, Mini, Nika-New, Meeka-Meeks, Sissy, Lil Mama’s…. but her favorite one of them all – was Momma. She was educated at AntiochMiddle School & Oak Park Senior High School in Kansas City, MO. She always loved rom-com’s and so it was (to her) much like a movie when she met Johnny Christopher Bonacorso at the age of fifteen and approached him, asking him to be her sweetheart! They were blessed with three beautiful children, Livia, Johnny Jr., and Isabella.
Dominique had such a passion for reading and was known to read 2 to 3 books in one day, yes - you read that right & no we are not exaggerating, she could read 2 to 3 books in one day. Her love of music and the performing arts was ongoing throughout her life. She often wished she could be a great performer, even though if she ever got in front of a crowd, she would freeze with stage fright! She was a huge fan of Tyler Perry's gospel plays.
She loved to surround herself with her family and most of all her siblings. She came from an exceptionally large, blended family and believed that time together feeds the soul.
She departed from us on August 19, 2024, and is preceded in death by all her great grandparents, several cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Dominique leaves behind her partner, Johnny Christopher Bonacorso, their three small children, Livia Joe Bonacorso (5 yrs.), Johnny Joseph Bonacorso (2 yrs.), and Isabella Davina Bonacorso (11 mths)!
