Duane Leo McNatt

Duane Leo McNatt 58, passed away Wednesday morning February 19th 2025 in Kansas City. 

Duane was born April 9th 1966 to Naomi V Johnson and David Leo McNatt in Greene County MO. He grew up in Argentine / Armoudale and graduated from JC Harmon High School in 1984. After graduation he attended college earning his Associates degree in Business. 

He moved around the Midwest and Arkansas but always called Kansas City, home. He worked many jobs but was most proud of owning his own business remodeling houses for sale and general construction. He was a jack of all trades and was quite crafty at making wood furniture. 

Duane enjoyed hanging out with friends and family. He donated his time to the Indian Center of Kansas City. His favorite radio station was 98.9 and loved listening to Johnny Dare. He was often found with a cold beer & cigarette cheering on his favorite football team the Las Vegas Raiders. 

He is preceded in death by both parents; Naomi Brown & David McNatt, a Stepdather; Johnnie Brown, a brother; David Lynn McNatt, & sister in law; Darla McNatt. 

Duane is survived by his Daughter; Miakah L McNatt of Kansas City, MO. Two brothers; Dennis McNatt of Polk, MO & Dwight Brown ( Karma) of Humansville, MO. Best friend; Penny Strassle of Independence, MO and a handful of niece's and nephews. 

A private memorial will be held at a later date for close family and friends.
