Genita Diann Bonner

Ms. Genita Diann Bonner was born on November 6, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri to Mr. Ollie D. Bonner and Mrs. Mae
Beatrice Bonner. Genita was baptized and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at an early age under the pastoral guidance of Reverend Claude H. High of the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church (3238 The Paseo, Kansas City, Missouri 64109). She
was an active member of the young adult choir, Girls in Action and Sunday School ministries.

Genita attended Kansas City Public Schools and graduated from Lincoln Senior High School in 1975. After graduation, she began her career as a childcare provider. Ms. Bonner continued her career as a Texas state employee for many years – a position from which she retired before returning to Kansas City.

Ms. Bonner is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, mother, father, two aunts,
three uncles and a brother-in-law.

Genita leaves to cherish her memory one sister Lena “Chelle”; four nieces Melanie, Monique, Monica, and
Michelle; four great-nieces Mai, Nadia, Selah, and Zuri; two cousins Jackie and Beverly, and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday January 17, 2024, visitation will be from 10 A.M. - 11 A.M. with services beginning at 11 A.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC 2800  East 18th st., KCMO 64127
