Gregory Scott Thompson

Gregory Scott Thompson (a.k.a. Colorado) born 10-25-1960 in Witchita, Ks to John Thompson and Corena Beam. He lived most of his life in CO, and moved back to KS, where he peacefully passed at home in Kansas City, KS on June 15th, 2024.

He is survived by his wife Georgetta, his brothers Melvin (Bonita), Bruce (Pam) his son Seth (Christina), step kid's Brian (Sherri) Stephanie & Heather. Many brother/sister in laws, nieces/nephews. His heart was always with his 14 grand babies, 5 great gandbabies, and baby X arriving in Dec.

Greg went to school in Commerce City, CO., and met his lifelong friends Roy (Starla) and Roger. He worked at Roadway (YRC) for 24 years before they closed last year.

He loved hunting and fishing, Texas hold em, playing pool, golf, anything fantasy sports related. He loved to read and watch movies with his grand babies.

His celebration of life will be on Aug 3rd, 1-5 @ River of Life Church 1772 NW 450th Rd Kingsville, MO 64061.
