Harold Benton Cyphers Jr.

Harold Benton Cyphers Jr., 78, of Independence, MO departed this world on March 10th, 2025 at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. He was born on October 18th, 1946 in Trenton, MO. He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Strong from 1965 - 1970 with honor during the Vietnam War. Upon his return to Missouri, he met and married his wife, Kimberly, whom together, they raised 2 children. 

Harold was a devoted father who worked hard to provide for his family. He loved working in the yard, playing outside with his wife and grandchildren, and he was always spending time with his dogs and cats. As an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, he proudly displayed his flag out front of his home, and was always happy to talk about football with anyone who would listen. Harold also had a robust matchbox car collection that he loved to tinker with and display throughout his home.

Harold was preceded in death by his wife Kimberly. Harold’s legacy and memory lives on through his two Children, Mitch and Benton; his nine Grandchildren, his five Great Grandchildren; as well as his extended family and friends that knew him best.
