Harvey Buford, a beloved chef, devoted family man, and friend to all, passed away surrounded by love and warm memories. Known for his culinary talents and magnetic personality, Harvey never met a stranger. His passion for cooking and entertaining brought joy to countless family gatherings, dinners with friends, and events that turned into lifelong memories.

Harvey shared a love for hosting with his wife, Kathy. Together, they created spaces filled with laughter, great food, and camaraderie, whether at their home or through their shared work in the culinary world. Harvey’s ability to connect with others through food and hospitality was unmatched, making him a cherished figure in every room he entered.

Throughout his career, Harvey combined his love of travel with his work, spending years on the road with restaurant group owners, helping to open new restaurants and share his expertise. His adventures not only shaped his career but enriched the lives of those he met along the way.

Harvey was preceded in death by his wife, father and two of his sisters, who surely welcomed him with open arms. He is survived by his devoted daughter Canela Hayden, mother Octavia Veal, sister Jackie Johnson (Michael), and brother Michael Buford. Their memories of Harvey's kindness, laughter, and love will remain forever in their hearts.
