Jacqueline Hall (Brown)

Jacqueline Hall was born on February 25, 1953, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Anna Louise Baker and her grandmother Susie A. Baker, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Calvin Hall Sr.; her step-son, Calvin Hall Jr.; her step- daughters, Elizabeth Hall and Linda Hall; her brothers, William David Lee, Herbert C. Lee, David L. Lee, and Timothy R. Lee; her Uncle Joseph Lee Baker; her Aunt Thelma Louise Wallace; and her nephews Deanthony Davis, Darryle Lee, and Andre Lee. Jacqueline spent most of her life in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a graduate of Manuel High School and started her career at Southwestern Bell. Jacqueline later transitioned to a role as an administrative assistant for the State of Missouri Research and Analysis Department, where she worked until her retirement. Jacqueline was introduced to Christ and accepted Him as her Lord and Savior at a young age at Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, where she was baptized. Later, she transitioned to worship at The Immaculate Temple of God, a non-denominational church. Jacqueline was very active in her son, Kevin Hall’s life where she attended all his school activities. Calvin and Jacqueline Hall did whatever it took to surround him with love and provide him with opportunities they he may not have otherwise received. Following the passing of her husband, Calvin Hall Sr. in 2005, Jacqueline relocated from Kansas City to St. Louis, Missouri to be closer to her son. She developed a love for traveling and took numerous trips with her family. Her final move was to Charlotte, North Carolina where she lived with her son, Kevin Hall, and daughter-in-law, Micah Hall. Jacqueline departed this life and rose to her new life on August 11, 2024, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. Jacqueline will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin. She was a gentle spirit with a kind heart. Jacqueline loved life and lived as an example to always be kind to others. She lived life fully and will be sadly missed by her entire family. Jacqueline Hall leaves to cherish her precious memories: her son, Kevin Hall, and daughter-in-law, Micah Hall; her adopted daughter, Suzanne Glover and her son-in-law, Jerome Glover; step- son Tommy Gibbs; step-daughter Tina Gibbs; her grandchildren, Myiah Hall, Kevin Hall, II, Jerome Oates, Marcus Davis, Jahleel Hall, LaTanya Davis, Michelle Davis, Katherine Hall, Krista Winston and Lorin Winston; and her siblings: her brother Grandville “Eddie” Lee, and his children, Teonna Hardin (niece) and Brian Lee (nephew); her brother Leroy Lee; her sisters Marie “Peaches” Davis, and her daughter, DaQuetta Davis (niece); and Shelia Dawson and her son, Vonzell Parrish (nephew). Additionally, she is survived by the children of her late brother William Davis, including Natasha Davis (niece) and Bobby Davis and William Davis (nephews), as well as the children of her late brother Herbert Davis, including Latonya Lee (niece) and Tony Lee and Joseph Lee (nephews).
