Jakeisha Rashaun Harrison

Jakeisha Rashaun Harrison was born on April 22, 1977, in Kansas City, Missouri to Joyce Ann Harrison and Johnnie Harrison Jr.

Jakeisha was educated at Central High School. She worked in doing what she loved best: culinary arts. Jakeisha successfully accomplished being a loving mother, friend, and sister, as well as many other things in life.

Jakeisha met Tommy Gunn and was blessed with six beautiful children. Jakeisha enjoyed barbecuing on the grill and cooking a variety of food. She was a strong hearted person who loved dressing up and had a passion for colors. Jakeisha loved animals, spending time with her family, and would help any person in their time of need.

Jakeisha was preceded in death by her parents Joyce Ann Harrison and Johnnie Harrison Jr. and her dearest niece Cy’erra Lowery.

Jakeisha leaves to cherish her memory her six children: Christopher Jones, Sydney Jones, Jakia Gunn–Harrison, Amon Echols, Amoreya Echols, and Ariel Harrison. Four brothers: Darnell [Karen] Lowery; David [Roxanne] Lowery; Marlon Lowery; Johron [Channell] Harrison. Three sisters: Nerissa Crayton-James; Jana Roper; Demitia Harrison; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday October 17, 2024, visitation will be held from 2 P.M. - 3 P.M. with services beginning at 3 P.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC 2800 East 18th st. Kansas City, Mo 64127.
