James Free'Mon Hill Jr.

Heaven’s gates have opened wide to admit James Free´Mon Hill Jr., AKA “Top Hat,” who made his transition to his celestial home on Monday, April 3, 2023, in Kansas City, Missouri.

The loyal and dedicated entrepreneur created his brand, with Dank Nitty and they named it “No Reggie” so that all who patronized his music and merchandise knew that they were not being hustled and that they were getting first class products.

His life was a prime example of the way he instilled quality in every thing that he did. He took great pride in maintaining his relationships, especially with his mother, Dawn and Aunt TT.

James was born in Mesa, Arizona to Dawn DaRae Maddox and James Free'Mon Hill Sr., on February 11, 1994.

More than “just a rapper”, JMack created his own style of music, performing, recording, and sharing his art. He also created a podcast, to help widen the audience for his brand.

The main focus of his life was his family. His son, James Free´Mon Hill III was the center of his life.

James graduated from Kansas State High School. He was recently honored as "Employee of the Year" at his job with Quest Diagnostics. He also worked at Ford Motor Company.
Waiting to meet him in Heaven are his father, James Free´Mon Hill Sr.; grandmother, Joyce Bradley; and great-grandparents, Elmer J. Taylor Sr., and Arnette Helen Taylor.

Left to celebrate James´ life are his son, James Free´Mon Hill III; mother, Dawn Maddox; sister, JaMes Hill; brother, MarQuette Johnson; grandmother, Anita Howard; grand-father, William Earl Howard; uncles, Zulu Hill, Joseph Howard, and Kaelan Howard; aunts, DeeDee Akinosho, Cindy Hill, Sheila Taylor, and Tracy Livingston; best friend, JJ, as well as a nephew, nieces, cousins, a host of other relatives and friends.
