Jean R. Melcher

Jean R. Melcher known affectionately as Jeannie to her family and friends passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025, in the hospital in Lee Summit, MO at the age of 59. Born on May 10, 1965, in Topeka Ks, Jeannie was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin & friend. Jeanie was born to her late father David Melcher Sr. and her surviving mother Mary Melcher.

Jeannie was proceeded in death by her sister Judy Melcher Madison and has one brother David Melcher Jr. (Kim Melcher) Topeka, Ks. Jeannie will be remembered for her love of animals especially her horse Bailey, spending time with friends and going for motorcycle rides with her boyfriend Joel.

As we say goodbye to Jeannie we do so with great gratitude for the time we had with her and the assurance that her spirit will remain with us always. Cremation has taken place. A memorial Service will begin @ 10:30am Saturday April 5, 2025, at
