Jim Lityma

Jim Lityma, Independence, Mo., unexpectedly passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025 surrounded by family after a brief illness at Centerpoint Hospital. He was born on January 7, 1958, in Kansas City, Mo. He graduated in 1977 from St. Mary's High School in Independence, Mo. Jim was preceded in death by his parents John and Lorene Lityma. 

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Debbie Lityma (Hadggega), son Tommy Lityma (TJ) and brother Mike Lityma(wife Pat Lityma). Jim was a loved brother-in-law and uncle to the family. He was always there to fix anything and the fun uncle that played and wrestled. He was a big loving teddy bear to his wife, son, and family. 

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Top Tier Event Center, 4701 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, Mo, 64133. Celebration of Life 2-5 p.m. Please come by and have a beer or pop in celebration of Jim. Family dinner time to follow
