Mr. Jimmie Lee Harris 71, known as Bobby or Uncle Bobby, was born March 28, 1952, in Kansas City, Kansas to Tommie B. Hill and Melvina Harris. Jimmie was educated in the Kansas City, Kansas School District. He accepted Christ at an early
age. Jimmie worked as a manager at Denny’s Restaurant, and Research Medical Center in housekeeping, in Kansas City, MO. He worked in Arizona, Ohio for a while doing odd jobs. Finally, he moved to Texas and worked at Graff Chevrolet detailing cars for many years until he became disable and couldn’t work anymore, he moved back to Kansas City, where he was born
to live out the rest of his life.
Jimmie had a kind heart; he would help anybody when he could. He loved to help his sisters set up their garage sales, enjoyed socializing with family and friends, loved to cook, watch the news, sports, old cowboy movies, laughing and joking and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Jimmie departed this life on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. His father Tommie B. Hill, mother Melvina Harris, brother Thomas Lee Harris, and a niece Cheril Rena Sims- Simpson, preceded him in death and will greet him in heaven.
He leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Jimmie Murray Harris, Kansas City, MO., Kenneth Harris Sr. (Alisha) Kansas City, KS., and Jimmie Mackey, Kansas City, MO., two daughters Bronyal “Niecee” McFadden, Kansas City, KS., Klorece Esposito Ball, Blue Springs, MO., and a stepdaughter Nicole Esposito Wise. Two brothers Clark Lee Hill (Sandra) Linesville, PA., Willie Lee Hill Kansas City, MO., Two sisters Ella B. Harris and Frances Gilbert- Raytown, MO., Grandchildren: Kenneth Jr., Kellen, Ka’leam Lee, Jahmila, and Kaleb Harris Kansas City, KS., Juanyae Murray, Kansas City, MO., Ex Wife’s: Diane Murray Harris and Joyce Campbell- Rainey-Harris, Kansas City, MO., Nieces: Cherie Stansbury Raytown MO., Willetta Hill-Jones, and La’Nai Hill-Oruoghor (Alex), Overland Pk., KS., Kimberly Hill-Young (Richard) Forth Worth, TX., Chanda Favors Arlington TX., Tessa Young, Rhome, TX., Sherlon Hill-Pulliam,
