Joselyne Uwineza

Joselyne Uwineza was born December 29,1982 in Gisenyi Rwanda to Jeanne M. and Simon N. Joselyn studied medicine at Aurora College. She later went on to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Patient Care Technician, she was also a Deacon.

She married Charles Mavaga in Dzaleka, Malawi, born to this union were five beautiful daughters. Joselyn enjoyed praying, singing, and listening to gospel music. She loved helping others and she especially loved being with her family.

Joselyne departed this life July 23, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents and aunties. She leaves to cherish her memories, Charles Mavaga, Nicole Mavaga, Evelyn Magava, Janet Mavaga, Apoline Mavaga, Deborah Mavaga, and her sisters, brothers, grandchildren, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday August 3, 2024, visitation will be held from 9 A.M. - 10 A.M.  with services beginning at 10 A.M. at  Haitian American Baptist Church 6820 E. Truman Rd Kansas City, Mo 64126.
