Joyce Ann Suhr, born on March 28, 1947, in Independence, Missouri, to John Biggs and Mae Lowell. Joyce passed away peacefully on October 30, 2024, in Buckner, Missouri. Proceeded in death both parents, 5 sisters, 2 brothers and her grandson Eddie Lee III. A dedicated home caregiver for over 30 years, Joyce touched the lives of many through her compassion and unwavering support for those in need.
She was a loving mother to her four children, Barbara Garlock, Eddie Garlock Jr, Larry Hayes Jr, Misty, and cherished the time spent with her five grandchildren—Chrystal (Johnny), Eddie Lee, Phil , Madaison, and Nolan—and three great-grandchildren, Alysa, BreAnna, and CheyAnn. She also leaves behind a lot of cousins,nieces,and nephews Her family was her pride and joy, and nothing brought her more happiness than being surrounded by them and her beloved dog, Danny.
In her leisure time, Joyce enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, and hunting for treasures at garage sales. She had a deep appreciation for music, especially the sounds of Elvis Presley and George Strait. Her favorite TV shows included "Little House on the Prairie," "Medicine Woman," "Dr. Phil," and various Lifetime movies, all of which provided her joy and comfort.
A lifelong Baptist, her faith guided her through life, and she was known for her kindness and willingness to help anyone in need. Her legacy of love, generosity, and family devotion will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
