Mr. Kendall Dewayne Crenshaw, 26, was born on April 12, 1996 in Kansas City, Missouri, to the union of Larry D. and Ra’Quel S. Crenshaw. His paternal grandmother, Betty Crenshaw, and uncle, Marcus D. DuPree both preceded him in death.
Kendall accepted Christ at an early age and he loved the Lord. He was a member of New Birth Christian outreach Center. Kendall was a part of the youth choir and he also served on the usher board, Sunday school and many other organizations in the church. Kendall attended various schools in the Kansas City Missouri school district. In June of 2014, he graduated with a G.E.D. from St. Joseph, Missouri. Kendall was a very lovable person, he never meet a stranger. He had a very big contagious smile. Everyone who knew him loved him. From a young age Kendall had a strong passion for music. He worked with many of Kansas City’s local legends and was also able to achieve mainstream success with major artist. As an artist himself his witty wordplay and smooth melodic delivery helped him obtain recognition rapidly under the moniker Ken Stang. His music has garnished over 100,000 views and streams independently. His latest, an EP entitled “Kentendo”. As a songwriter he had a style that was unmatched and clever allowing him to catch the attention of multi platinum music producers and grammy award winners. Kendall was undoubtedly on his way to the top. Kendall’s gifts, talents and smile will be greatly missed. On February 2, 2018 he became a father to a beautiful baby girl Ma’Kenzye Rae Crenshaw, whom he loved and adored. Along with music, Ma’Kenzye was also the jewel of his life.
Kendall departed this life on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Saint Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri.
He leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Ma՛Kenzye Crenshaw; mother, Ra՛Quel Dupree; father, Larry Crenshaw; one sister, Keona Crenshaw; maternal grandparents, Maurice, Sr. and First Lady Maridale DuPree; two uncles, Maurice (Chanda) DuPree, and Micheal (Candace) DuPree; three aunts, LaWanya (David) Miller, Gabrielle DuPree, and Bridgette Crenshaw; God-mothers, LaTasha McKamey, Michelle Miller, LaConda Murphy, and Neolle Swinton; God-sisters, T’Erica, Stanesha, Jade, JaiEsha, Kristasha, and Jessica; God-brothers, Raymone, Ronnie, Marcus, Jai Jr., Brian, Devon, and Curtis; best friend/brother, Martay Cushon, and a host of cousins, close friends, and family to mourn his passing.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday December 3, 2022, visitation will be from 8 A.M. - 10 A.M. with services beginning at 10 A.M. at The City House 14300 E US 40 Highway.
