Kent Oliver Kayhill

It is with profound sadness that I share the passing of my beloved father, Kent Oliver Kayhill, who left us on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at St. Luke Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri, at the age of 66. His final moments were spent with love and laughter, surrounded by family and friends. 

Kent was a man of immense humor and compassion, touching the lives of all that were fortunate enough to be graced with his presence.

He loved travel, movies, food and most of all, his beloved family. 

He was a survivor, an overcomer, a man of honor who led by example. 

While his absence leaves a tremendous void in our hearts, his passion for the Lord and his unwavering spirit will forever be remembered.

Kent was born Wednesday, July 17, 1957 in Topeka, Kansas. He was preceeded in death by his parents James Kayhill and Tillie Pickett Kayhill, and is survived by his children, Malikka Kayhill, Makayla Kayhill-Walton and Rasean Kayhill, his grandchildren, Alaiya Kayhill, Xevion Walton and Kalen Walton as well as siblings, Deon Kayhill, Lori Kayhill-Dillard and Jackie Kayhill. 

A memorial service will be held on Friday August 30, 2024 at 11 am at:
