KENTON MARCUS WILLIAMS “Maurice” September 22nd, 1978 - May 3rd, 2024 Kenton Marcus Williams, passed away on May 3rd, 2024 in Kansas city, KS at the tender age of 45. Born September 22nd, 1978. The beloved son of Jeanett Green and Michael Williams Sr. He grew up in Kansas City, Ks and attended Northwest middle school where he played on the wrestling team and later on received his GED. 

Kenton who was affectionately known to many as “Reece” devoted his life to Christ at a early age. Reece’s passion for providing for his family led him to start his own business (Reece Lawn Care LLC). Aside from his work Reece enjoyed hobbies such as basketball, singing, and dancing. Reece loved his family and friends and he would always go the extra step to prove his love and loyalty. You could always count on Reece to go above and beyond and just show genuine love to whoever crossed his path.

He was a devoted father and a grandfather. Reece loved the kids and showed each individual child love whether they were related by blood or not. Reece will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Reece leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother Jeanett Green, 7 children Kiana Williams, Kenton Williams, Skii Williams, Reece Williams, Ziare Williams, Ka’Maya Williams, and Koran Williams. 1 bonus child Layara Woods. 6 brothers and 2 sisters Linda Green, Ronald Blackman, Ronell Blackman, Brent Blackman, Michael Williams Jr, Nikita Smith,and Kenneth Wade.
A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is Preceded in death by his father Michael Williams Sr, his brother Keith Wade, His grandmother Barbra Williams

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. with services beginning at 11 A.M.  at Golden Gate located at 2800 East 18th Street Kansas City, Missouri 64127. 

Interment: Highland Park Cemetery, Kansas City, KS.
