L-Jomo Kenyatta Wilson a native of Kansas City, KS was born June 12, 1979 to Carrie Lee Morgan (John) and Forrest D. Wilson Sr. (Jessica). He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparent Irene Lee and paternal grandparents Susie Wilson and Lester Wilson Sr.. 1 nephew LaRon Grant and 1 cousin Antowon Dotson.
He was employed at PPC Flexible Packaging as an Ink Technician for 11 years, and at Napa Auto Parts for 14 months as a Store Delivery Driver. He received his education at Douglass Elementary, Central Middle School and Wyandotte High School.
He accepted Christ at an early age.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Stephanie Wilson, three sons Jamell Wilson, Joseph Wilson, and Phillip Martin one granddaughter Mariah Martin, five sisters Zelma Lee, Demetria Ellis (Chris), Monica Lee, Wednesday Grady and Heaven Wilson, one brother Forrest Wilson Jr.(Dilek), six nieces and five nephews a beautiful host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and special friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday November 25, 2023, visitation will beheld from 10 A.M. - 11 A.M. with services beginning at 11 A.M. at Guiding Star Missionary Baptist Church located at 3035 N. 27th st. in Kansas City, Kansas.
