Larry Dean Prosser

Larry Dean Prosser, 77, of Independence, Missouri, passed away on March 9, 2025.

Larry was born in Shelbyville, Illinois, in 1947 to Lawrence and Katherine Prosser. At the young age of 18, he was drafted into the military, which marked the beginning of a proud 27-year career serving in the Army in the medical field.

After years of military service, Larry met his wife, Beverly, and they wed in November of 1974, going on to have three wonderful children: Veronica, Johnathan, and Merideth.

Following his retirement from the Veteran's Hospital, Larry enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. He was an avid fan of his favorite sports teams and was well known for his great sense of humor, which brought joy to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Larry was predeceased by his parents, his sister Jane, and his brother Jim. He is survived by his brother, Scott Prosser.
