Lasaigdra Elizabeth Marie Craddock was an Earth Angel. She began this life on February 2, 1983. “Sadie” as she was lovingly called, was born to Lisa Ann Craddock and Charles Edward Turner Jr.
Lasaigdra attended United Cerebral Palsy, as well as, BW Shepherd State School. Although she had limited capabilities, she was still able to accomplish many things in her life that were said to be unreachable. She learned to hold her head up, belly crawl, sit-up, communicate thru switch pad, wheel her own wheelchair, and communicate her feelings thru facial expressions and touch.
Sadie enjoyed being outside around people and sounds. Her most favorite things were listening to music, holding hands, foot and head massages. She loved hugs and kisses from her family. Attention and affection were the way to her heart. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting Sadie loved her immediately.
Sadie was the definition of love and light in human form. She taught her family the true meaning of strength, sacrifice, unconditional love, and compassion. There are no words to describe how greatly she will be missed.
Lasaigdra departed this life on Friday, February 17, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Edward Turner Jr.; maternal great-grand-mother, Nettie Craddock; paternal great-grandmother, Louise Thompson; cousin, Medina Craddock, and Dominic Carter; along with other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
