Lee Lorenzelle Jones

Lee Lorenzelle Jones was born in Fayette, Missouri to Felicia Jones (Gibson) and George Jones. He was educated and graduated from Westport High School in Kansas City, Missouri, Lee went on to get certified in HVAC and worked in numerous hotels. Lee also had a carpet cleaning business called "L&L Carpet & Upholstery".

Lee met and married Loretta Carter, where he gained two beautiful stepchildren and they had one kid together. They were married 16 years before parting ways. Lee was blessed with nine  children.

Lee enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids and family. He always loved to crack a joke and tell a story. He welcomed everyone he met with open arms and had a laugh and smile that captured the whole room. 

Lee departed this life on Saturday, July 23, 2022. His parents, Felicia and George Jones; grand-parents; Aunt Shirley, and sister, Autura Taylor all preceded him in death.

Lee leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Gertrude Elliot-Jones; children, Me'Kel Williams, Lorenzelle Lee Jones, Sigourney Jones (Eric),  Liara Banks-Moore, Dante Jones (Raquel), Remi Reese (James), Anthony Reese II, Lorenzo Thomas and ZeMon Griffin (Derric); siblings, Cuqrita Whitley, Deanna Eubanks, Curtis  Thompson, Justin Jones, Jeffery Jones, Brian Murphy and Andrea Fowler; stepsiblings, Karla Smith and Hasan Brodus; aunts, uncles, 14 grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
