People may look at this program and wonder why there is no information on my life. This is how I feel about that, and this is “my words”, “No obituary, if you knew me or my family that is my obituary. The life the Lord let me live and the love ones left is my obituary. What more do you need to know. Thanking my family for all they did for me, all my needs and wants fulfilled. Love each other and always help each other. Love Mom. A GOOD LIFE!” 

Left to celebrate my life: Children my; Wayne Albritton (Markita), Helen Jones, Marian “Mickey” Dodd (Eddie), Auline “Boo” Gunnels (Glen “Tony”), Rosetta “TD” Jones Chambers, Liz Rhodes (Charles), LaTanya Alexander (Robert deceased), Avah Albritton, Kenneth “Kenny” Albritton (LaShone), and Michelle Dedmon. Deceased: Caroline Albritton and Lorraine “Rainey” Hopkins. 27 grandkids, 67 great grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren. Deceased: Anthony Albritton, Bryan Jones, and Tarik Hopkins. Sister-in-law Mattie Chambers, bonus daughter Glenn Dedmon, 3 Goddaughters – Kat Williams, Barbara Clarke, and Ida McNeal.

  A funeral service will be held Tues, October 22, 2024, at Rock of Ages located at 3806 Prospect Ave. The Visitation will begin at 8:30 AM., the service will begin at 10:00AM.
