Linda Faye Dudley (Crowder)

Mrs. Linda Faye Dudley was born December 11, 1957 in Memphis, Tennessee to Maxine Irma Shaw and   David Lee Crowder.

Linda Crowder was educated in the Kansas City,  Kansas School District at Fairfax Elementary, Northwest Middle, and graduated from Wyandotte High School. She further her career in the field of Health and graduated College with a degree in Nursing. In her younger years, she accepted employment as a Nurse.

Linda married Jerome Dudley, July 5, 1977, and they were blessed with four children.

Through the years, Linda accomplished being a Lead Retail Supervisor for JC Penney. She also was a Supervisor at Kaw Valley Center, a center for abused and neglected children.

Linda was very outgoing and loved people. She enjoyed going to church, inviting every single person she met to go to her church. She loved participating  in sports; playing basketball, running  track, and she absolutely loved skating, and was very talented in doing so.

Linda departed this life on Monday, February 13, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. at the Kansas City Hospice House. Her parents, four brothers, Ernest Johnson, Donald Johnson Sr., Johnny Crowder, and Victor Crowder, 2 nieces, and 6 nephews, all preceded her in death.

Linda leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Melanie (Craig) Porter, Megan Dudley, Michelle (Stanley)Rainey; one son, Marvin (LaKiesha) Dudley; two sisters, Chistine Brown, and Rosie McIntrye; four grand-daughters, Kourtney Stallings, Ma'Brea Dudley, Ma'Riyah Dudley, and Malayah Rainey; five grandsons, Dominae (Jordan) McIntosh, Ny'ilon Stallings, Marvin Dudley Jr., Stanley Rainey Jr., and Myron Dudley; special friends, Jackie Suttington, Felicia & Rodney Cooper, and Teresa Watkins, and a host of other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday March 3, 2023

Visitation will be held from 10 A.M. - 11 A.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC

Interment: Sunset Memorial Park in Kansas City, Kansas
